Local Attractions

Why not take a bit of time off and explore the Capricorn Coast? Here are some of the nearby places us locals love!

Byfield National Park

If you’ve got a 4wd then Byfield National Park is not to be missed. A hotspot for locals and tourists alike, it boasts some of Queensland’s best beaches and campgrounds.

Be sure to stop in at the Byfield Bush Cafe for a great coffee and a tasty lunch.

The Capricorn Caves

The Capricorn Caves is a worthy escapade, and you only need a couple of hours free. As an added bonus, it’s only a 15-minute drive from the festival site!

Keppel Island

What was once a tourist hotspot with a resort and night club is now a relaxed island getaway with pristine beaches, bush walks, snorkelling and more. There is a bar and a couple of restaurants, and a variety of camping and accommodation options.

We are hosting a free afterparty at the Great Keppel Island Hideaway on the 4th of August (the weekend after the festival). Limited accommodation available. Click here to book.

Keppel Konnections will be running discounted ferries all day until 9:30PM on the 4th of August.
